Lithophanes are images printed in relief, which when held up to a light source reveal a stunning, translucent grey and white photograph.
This class teach students how to use online software to generate a .stl file from your own photograph. The class will focus on teaching students how to import and setup files in PreForm then prepare and begin a print on our Form3 SLA resin printers.
Students will also prepare frames for their finished pieces, which will be ready to pick up at MAXT during the following week.
Students will need to bring a USB key containing a photograph of their choice or have easy access to their photos online. The finished image will be 3" x 4"
