Digital Fabrication: Decorative Moulding with Inkscape and Fusion 360.

Learn advanced techniques in Inkscape and Fusion 360 for designing decorative motifs. The resulting files can be engraved on the CNC, printed on one of our 3D printers, or cut/burned on the laser cutter.

Laptops with software pre-installed are available for students during the class time - you may bring your own computer with the latest versions of Inkscape and Fusion 360 hobbyist if you would prefer.

This class includes materials for testing your designs.

3/4" mdf panel for cnc carving
3mm plywood for the laser cutter
Filament or resin from our 3D printing stock

Students should expect to complete their cnc cuts, laser cuts and 3D prints outside of class time - access to the space will be provided for non-members.
