CMYK Monotype Printing with Bill Cass

  • MAXT Makerspace 49 Vose Farm Road, STE 110 Peterborough, NH, 03458 United States (map)

Join Bill Cass, artist and Associate Professor in Printmaking at New England College to make some truly unique prints!

Monotype prints are one of a kind images produced on a smooth plate by selectively removing ink, each print is as unique and creative as you want to make it. CMYK prints use primary colors just like your home computer printer to be able to create a whole rainbow of tones.

Bill will guide students through the process of designing, layering and removing inks on Perspex plates and finally using our press to transfer your impressions to paper.

Students should bring at least one photo or sketch to work from for their piece. Prints will be produced on an 8" x10" plate
