Throughout history and across cultures humanity has preserved and told its stories through fabric and stitches. Join us for a fun and interactive evening exploring this expressive art form. A wide variety of fabric and thread will be available for you to choose from, but this can also be a poignant opportunity to use fabric that is sentimental to you, so feel free to bring in some of your own supplies. This class is suitable for all levels and can be a wonderfully free and unique way for beginners to engage in hand sewing in a meaningful and personal way. Simple stitches and more complex embroidery techniques will be taught as needed.
