Create a centerpiece to be proud of for your holiday meals!

Join John in the woodshop as we learn to turn a rough board into a unique, high quality hardwood chopping board, perfect for bread at the thanksgiving table or charcuterie over the holiday season.

Students will learn how to take a rough board through milling, cutting to shape with the chop saw, table saw and bandsaw, drilling on the drill press and then finishing with fine sanding and oil ready for the table. Students will work on their own designs for handles, board shape and hanging holes.
