Summer camp - for grown ups!

A Taste of MAXT is just that, a week of fun classes and experiences at the Makerspace, exploring the many ways you can create in our spaces. Join a whole host of expert makers from across the region for in this food themed week. We'll also be featuring some refreshments from local producers to enjoy alongside some of your art.

Each day will cover at least two skills in the MAXT workspaces, we are still confirming our full roster but here is a soupson of featured projects:

Laser engraved chopping boards

Carved wooden butter spreaders

Stained glass fruit suncatchers

Embroidered produce on a market bag

Fruit inspired printmaking on textiles

Sewn snack pouches with locally designed fabrics

Still life art on the deck with refreshments

Weave a small bread basket

Bind your own recipe book
