MAXT prioritizes the safety of our staff, instructors and students, some of whom travel long distances to our facilities.
We will monitor the weather and give at least 4 hour notice should we feel conditions are not safe to proceed with a class or program. This can include, but is not limited to:
Notice will be given via the email used to register for the class or event. We will make every effort to offer a makeup date that works for instructors and students for any missed class session.
During instances of significant snowfall, MAXT staff may also choose to close down its facilities all together for both classes and member usage. This will be announced to all those affected via email.
Ticket cancellations for MAXT events are subject to a full refund up to 48 hours before your event start unless otherwise stated in the event description.
Tickets cancelled within 48 hours are subject to refund via MAXT discretion only. Class budgeting and materials purchasing is subject to student numbers.
MAXT will give a minimum of 24 hours notice for any programs that must be cancelled due to low enrollment. Tickets for these events will be refunded in full. Notice will be provided via the email used to register for the class or event.
In the event of an unforeseen change in scheduling including but not limited to instructor illness, facility closing due to weather or late ticket cancellations. Notice will be given via the email used to register for the class or event at the earliest possible time before the start of the program.
We will make every effort to offer a makeup date that works for instructors and students for any missed class session. Students unable to make rescheduled classes will be offered a full refund.
All attendees must have a signed a waiver on file before attending MAXT programs for the first time. Adult waiver can be found here: General Waiver and the youth waiver to be signed by a parent or guardian is available here: Waiver for a Minor. A link will also be emailed to you before class.
Students should wear closed toed shoes to all MAXT programs, long hair should be tied back for any programs involving shop equipment.
Personal protective equipment will be provided for use during programs where appropriate, attendees are welcome to bring their own additional safety equipment.
Attendees are expected to arrive for their event by the listed start time. Instructors are unable to delay starting instruction and catching up late students is disruptive to the flow of the program.
