Learn the basics of blacksmithing with Alex Silverman in this afternoon class. Students will create a coat hook and learn the fundamentals skills required to dive further into the craft. This is a great class to learn the basic setup of a forge, with Alex's basic portable propane forge setup and simple hammer, tongs and anvil.
Alex is a full time bladesmith and previous competitor on History Channel's 'Forged in Fire'
Students must wear all natural fiber clothing and closed toe leather shoes for this class.
