Handbuilding 101: Make a Mug! with Mary Roberts

If you’re someone who thinks your morning cup of coffee tastes better in a handmade mug, wait ‘til you try that first sip from a mug you made yourself! Join us for this two-night intro to ceramics and craft your own unique mug or teacup. Mary will teach handbuilding and decoration methods in this beginner-friendly workshop. Each participant can expect to make one to four pieces from start to finish: forming the vessel using the slab/pinch technique, attaching the handle, and adding 3D texture to personalize their mugs. This is a great way to try ceramics for the first time or to continue your exploration of handbuilding with clay. Pre-requisites: no experience necessary.
