Ready to take your knitting skills to the sweater level? With a goal of finishing in time for winter holidays, together we will cast-on a stylish seamless sweater, support each other and learn how to do a stretchy bind-off before blocking our completed sweaters. Your instructor, Audrey Carrel, will lead two 3-hour in-person sessions supplemented with weekly meet-ups during the regularly scheduled Textiles Open Studio at MAXT.

Skills needed: casting on, knit and purl stitches, increasing and decreasing stitches.

Materials needed: Worsted or Aran weight yarn; US 7 Circular 32” inch needles

Yarn Amounts:
Size 1: XS/SM (600 yards)

Size 2: M/L (800 yards)

Size 3: XL-2X (1000 yards)

Size 4: 3X-5X (1200 yards)
