Handbuilding 101: Pinch Pots & Beyond!

Pinch pots are a fantastic way to work with clay, requiring few tools besides your hands and your imagination.  Learning to pinch and attach clay into spherical forms provides you with a starting point for both pottery and sculpture.  This workshop will introduce you to pinch pot techniques including preparing your clay, pinching clay into your desired shapes, and decorating with colorful underglazes!  

Studio staff will finish your pots with a food-safe clear glaze to enhance your decoration and increase their durability.  Work will be ready for pick-up within two weeks of the workshop.  Beginner-friendly, youth 12+ can attend with a parent/guardian.
